YAY!!!!!! Incredible story, but I just want to let you all know, that Brittany is getting baptized!
It has been a long journey for her. She has been going to church with Gunner, her husband, since they were dating in high school. Lately, she has had a yearning to know.
Last week, I talked of the appointment we had with them and how incredibly strong the Spirit was. It was interesting, because we had gotten a txt earlier that day from Gunner telling us not to come because Brittany wasn't feeling well. We didn't actually get that txt until later that night because we were rushing from appointment to appointment. Luckily, Brittany let us in!!!!! We didn't know until this week, but I guess she had been having a really rough day that day. She had been feeling really overwhelmed and even considered dropping us. She said when we came, though, she felt a peace and calm, and she was so glad we had come. She said she knew she needed us that day and that we were supposed to be there.
After last week's app, she talked to Gunner for about 2 hours, just asking him questions and trying to understand. They even read the Book of Mormon together, and she prayed to know that this was all true and what she should be doing. The answer came on Sunday at church. It was the Primary program, and her little son, Kaden, was in it, which I think definitely contributed hugely to her gaining her answer. She said that it was the first time she felt at home coming to church; she knew this was what she wanted. She is going to be baptized on October 18th, and Gunner talked to the Bishop and is going to baptize her. :)
So yeah! Definitely the highlight of the week!!! :) It has been great all around. Oh, and we got to watch the new movie, "Meet the Mormons," that is coming to theaters October 10th!! The missionaries got to see it early, and it was fantastic-really well-made!! Really encourage watching it! :)
Super excited for General Conference!! The General Women's Broadcast was incredible. I know that as you all come seeking answers and with questions in mind, you will receive revelation.
Love you all and wish you the best this week! :)
