Another great week!!! We had a really great zone conference on Tuesday--there is this super exciting initiative the church is putting out!!! I hope you have all heard of it. It is like the #HeIstheGift, but it's for Easter, and it's called, #BecauseHeLives!! :) It's going to be so great! It's such an incredible video, but it doesn't launch for the public until the 28th of March. (It talks about it in the March ensign.) :) And the website is going to STAY up, and they'll just keep updating it with new iniatives--so exciting!! Also, the church is taking over youtube on Easter--it's a big deal, so use this as an opportunity to invite and introduce others to our Savior, Jesus Christ.
Miracle of the week! So last transfer, Sister Hay and I decided to go to this unknown name on our ward list...turned out she didn't live there, but this guy named Casey did. You may remember me talking about him. He was super nice, and he said he had been to our church a couple times with his LDS work buddy. We gave him a Book of Mormon, but then, since he works in the oil fields, he fell off the face of the planet for about a transfer--went to Oklahoma, Mississippi, all kinds of places. BUT!!! Brother Eldredge, our wonderful previous ward mission leader, stayed in touch with his LDS friend (who is also never around), and he told him that Casey had read the WHOLE Book of Mormon!!!!!!! We were so excited! He also just experienced a death in the family, and is super prepared to hear the gospel. :) We are meeting with him this week! The Lord prepares his elect, and we will be led to them when we are living obediently and faithfully following the promptings of His Spirit.
I went on exchanges with Sister Woods, who goes home in two weeks....suddenly I felt like I have forever left with my three months!!! Haha--it doesn't seem real to think that home actually exists anymore. :) But the Lord is definitely preparing Sister Hay and I according to His timing, and I feel I will definitely be ready when the time comes.
We were able to meet with Arianna this week, which was so great. We were getting a little worried about the whole situation with her mother not being super excited about Arianna going to a different church. But things are good! Arianna is just super stressed out with school, being a Junior and having tons of tests and stuff. :/
Also!! If any of you send me letters, be sure to include Colorado Fort Collins Mission in the address, after my name and before 500 Hillspire Dr....thanks!!!!
Our Father in Heaven answers prayers, and He knows when we need something exactly when we need it. Please notice His hand in your lives.
Have a wonderful week!!! :)
Love,
Sister Budge
