That (title) was just a fun little rendition of the primary song--interpreted by a two year old. :) Love it!! This week has been really good! I think I mentioned our zone vision last week-that has been going really well for us. The weather here has been incredible, like in the 70's sometimes incredible, so we have been trying to get outside and do some street contacting. Even though we haven't seen any fruits from that yet, at least I'm getting more and more brave and confident with talking to people!!!
We had some really good lessons this week. We had a couple of less active lessons that were incredible, one being with the Lozanos. We had been trying to visit Sister Lozano for several weeks with no success. She was always gone, but every time we've tried recently, her son, Danny, has answered the door. I guess it kind of became a running joke that we always came when happened to be gone. Danny is less active--in fact, we're not even sure where his records are. Well, when we finally came at a time when she was home, Danny surprisingly joined in at the lesson. There is probably no way he would have if we had not met him at the door all those times beforehand. The Lord works in mysterious ways, and we just need to remember to be patient because His timing is always right!
The Vasquez family is doing really well. We taught the father, David Vasquez, for the first time last night. He and his two daughters, Angel and Jessica, are absolutely incredible!!! I am so excited to continue to see their progress. The Spirit compelled me to tell them about baptism and ask them to be baptized, so I did. Brother Vasquez said that it makes sense, but he just wants his girls to know it's true first, and he wants them to make their own decisions. All three of them are going to read from the Book of Mormon, pray to know if it's true, and pray to ask if they should be baptized!!!! p.s. Jessica has been reading virtually every day already, and has been attending Seminary...she's golden!!!
The Spirit continues to amaze and strengthen me every day. Something that stood out to me in Preach My Gospel this week was this--"People will rarely change unless invited to do so." This can be said of all of us. That is one reason why church and all of our other meetings are so important!
I love you all and hope you have a wonderful week! P.S. the Women's broadcast was SO powerful!! I can't wait for General Conference!!!!!!!!! :D
