Another transfer has flown by, can you believe it?! Sister Linsenmann and I have only been together one transfer, she only has one left, she's getting transferred to Boulder for six weeks, and guess what else?! I'M TRAINING!!!!!! :) Yay! I'm seriously so excited.....but then so nervous at the same time. Elder Marble, one of the Assistants to the President, called on Saturday morning, and you know what that means...! He told me Heavenly Father had called me to train and asked if I would accept. I was so excited and mind-blown, I didn't know what to do with myself! :) All I know about the Sister I am going to train is that she is a visa waiter going to Bulgaria; that means I have no idea how long I will actually have her, so I need to make the most of it and teach her/learn from her all that I can in our possible short time together!
We have a baptism coming up this week for Brittany Haynes, and I'm super excited and happy for her; I'll send pictures next week. :)
We have a new investigator! His name is Jay Harnish; he used to be a member, and is working on taking that step of baptism again. He has been working with previous missionaries before he moved in with his sister, Sister Gadbury (amazing members of our ward :)), and he hopes to be able to be baptized within this transfer. :)
I just feel so overwhelmed with the Spirit lately. There is so much power available to us if we just allow ourselves to get out of the way, take a step back, and listen to what God wants us to hear. There is no joy greater than that which comes from helping, strengthening, and serving our fellow men.
Love,
Sister Marissa Budge
p.s. these are some little girls we teach; we're preparing one for baptism soon. We gave them chocolate....and Kaitlyn definitely got chocolate all over her face... :)
