Thank you for your updates!! Sometimes I forget that you are all still on the same planet as me and I'm not in an entirely different realm...
Thank you also for your prayers. It truly does make a difference.
I hope that you all got the chance to watch/listen to General Conference, because it was incredible!!! The Lord needs each and every one of His faithful children so badly to stand strong for what we believe! The work is moving forward. He needs us to act as His disciples and consecrate ourselves to Him. I don't know if you noticed, but it seemed to me that each one of the speakers testified with such boldness--this time more than ever! This work is real. This gospel is His. And He needs we who have taken His name upon us to give our will to Him and represent Him.
We got the chance to watch conference with a potential investigator for the Sunday afternoon session. Her name is Lydia Thompson, and she is SO prepared! Elder Corbridge's (?) talk was so perfect and inspired, as he basically taught straight from Preach My Gospel. Lydia even said afterwards that she agreed with everything that was said. I know that General Conference is purely God's words to His children.
I got to go on exchanges this week with Hermana Smith, and as usual, it was great!! I always get slightly nervous, or rather stressed just a little :) beforehand, but once I'm on exchanges, I love it!! I always learn so much. We are given so many opportunities to learn and grow from one another out here, and I feel like there is always something new.
Just a side note....I got to help with demolition work this week!!!! It was a service project, and we tore down a trailer house!!
The Lord is with us always when we let Him in. I am so incredibly grateful every day for His atoning sacrifice. He is real, and His love for ALL of us in infinite and eternal.
I love you all!!!!
Love, Sister Budge
