Yesterday was a super great day! As Sister Strasser said, "Having people actually come to church is kinda stressful!" :) But we did--we actually had people come this week! The Briggs family was there, and though it was hard with her newborn baby, she came and showed her faith by doing so. Another sister we have been teaching, Sister Kristen Hernandez, who has been less active for years, came as well! She brought her non-member husband and their two little kids. In addition to these two families, there were other non-members whom the members have been fellowshipping there, as well. I think there were around 8 non-members at church yesterday, and it was so exciting! The work is rolling forth, and I am so excited and blessed to be a part of it.
Sister Strasser is over her cold, so this week has definitely been better. :) The mission has decided to just focus on her jaw problems and pain before focusing on her continual fatigue, so right now that's what we're doing. It's looking like she is going to have to get a root canal sometime soon, so that should be loads of fun!! I guess there is a brother in the stake who has done them for free for several missionaries. We're going to call him today to look into that because that seems to be really the only option right now. :) If it helps her to feel better, though, then I think we're both all for it.
I went on exchanges this week, and it was great. I decided I love exchanges, even though it's hard at first, because I learn so much from the perspective of another missionary and the way she does things. I also get to make friends, so that's a bonus, right? :)
It was another great week, and Sister Strasser and I even had a pretty great Valentine's Day. :D Several people gave us little Valentines, and we decided to celebrate by buying Martinelli and pillsbury cookie dough to celebrate with during lunch. :D Good times!!
Thank you for your love and prayers. Have a fantastic week!!
