This week has been pretty great--the weather here is the strangest thing!!! One day, this week, it rained and snowed all day long. And then yesterday, it was up to like 70 degrees!!! I can't figure it out!!! I mean, I'm grateful, though, because I still get the seasons, but I get a break here and there from the snow. :)
Our investigator with a date isn't going to be able to be baptized this week like we'd hoped. She was sick last Sunday, and didn't make it to Stake Conference yesterday...so she hasn't been to church three times yet. It's really hard, because she just started work up again after being on maternity leave, so she's crazy busy all the time, which makes it really hard for us to meet with her. Sigh...I thought it was all too easy before!!!
So yeah, Stake Conference was this weekend, and it was great! President Foster, the Stake 'President, told us missionaries at a breakfast we had at his house a couple of weeks ago, something pretty cool. He said that the topic they were asked to base conference on (particularly the adult session) was the hastening of the work. He said that usually the first presidency will suggest a topic, but this time, they were specifically asked to do it on the hastening of the work. It was an incredible conference--both sessions--and I really feel it lifted and motivated the members. The work really is moving forward. It's so exciting!
Thank you for all your prayers. You're so great, and I wish you the best this week!!!!!!!
