Sierra Briggs, our baptismal date investigator, was at church again this week, and she's doing really well. She is definitely golden!!!!
I feel like the weeks are really starting to just jumble together a lot more the more that I'm out here, which is great, I guess, but it gets harder and harder to know what I have already said in these emails. You'll just have to be patient with me. :)
There was a Stake Relief Society Conference on Saturday. I got to go to part of it, and it was incredible!! We watched a little video segment on Sister Hinkley--what a wonderful lady!!! She exemplified faith, hope, and charity. Sister Dalton said of her, "One couldn't walk away from spending a time with her without coming away feeling a little better about themselves." That is how I hope to be.
In addition to attending a little of the conference, we were able to help out with serving and catering the lunch. It really took me back to the good old days of working at the Bear Trapper!! I even found myself using some of the same phrases and things I would use. :)
Yesterday was Ward Conference, and it was also incredible. Sister Strasser and I got to sing with the ward choir. The song was, "Love One Another." We got to sing a duet with it, and it worked out kind of funny, because we sang in church last week, too!!! I had to tell some people we brought to church, "I promise, we don't sing every week--it just so happened that we have sung the past two weeks in a row!" It really is great that I still get to share the gospel through music out here, though. :)
Well, I wish you all a fantabulous week, and I thank you for your prayers. They really do make such a difference. It is truly amazing.
