Wow! It's already week three of the transfer! Can't believe it. The Lord has been ever present this week, as well.
For starters......Mary has a baptismal date!!! YAY!!!!!!! :D She and Kendra both came to a baptism with us the other day, and they were both just overcome! They talked about it with each other, and they were so pumped and excited! Can't wait--they are both set for July, so I'll keep you updated on that! :)
We have had a couple of setbacks this week-there was one afternoon when Sister Martinez got bitten by a mosquito (she's extremely alergic!!) and had to take benedryl for an afternoon. Last night, my stomach hindered me, so we had to go home again! All well; it is what it is!! After all-we are the reject mission!! ;)
We had Zone Conference on Tuesday. Ours was with the Greeley, Greeley East, and Fort Collins zones. It was so great because I got to see a lot of my old friends and people I've served with!!! It is kinda an all day meeting-- 9:00-4:00, but it's always super incredible! I learned a lot; there is such strength at those meetings!
We are kinda stressing about miles....you see, we have an incredibly huge area, and we have to travel to Greeley pretty oftenish for meetings, so our miles get sucked up really fast! We are down to the last week of the month, so next week we'll get more. But until then, we have had to plan extremely carefully, and....we're going to be on bike this week for a lot of the time!!!!! Should be interesting-we're borrowing some bikes from a couple other sisters. Like I said, we have an extremely huge and spread out area, so we should have hulk legs by next week!! I'm pumped!! :)
We have been able to teach our investigator, Amy Gotko, twice this week. Once we watched the Joseph Smith video (so powerful!!! Use it!!) and the next we helped her weed.
I have a testimony of the love of God. He longs to bless us, but is just waiting for us to ask with faith (and show by our works) that we are ready. The Book of Mormon is the word of God, and it testifies of Christ on every page. Don't ever take it for granted. Love and serve those around you, and your faith will increase.
Love you all!!
