Dear everybody, :)
I just love it here in Wellington with Sister Hay!!!!! We work so well together, and she just teaches me so much. We feel like we continue to see so many miracles, even things that aren't directly related to our efforts at all. We had 8 less actives at church yesterday, and we definitely can't take credit for that! I am so grateful and humbled at the Lord's mercy and grace.
Samantha is getting baptized on Saturday!!! We're working a lot with her, since it's coming up so fast! She's doing so well. ;) Thank you for your prayers.
We are so excited!! The other day, we had an appointment fall through, so we had an hour until our next appointment. We decided to go visit a less active whom we didn't know. She didn't live there anymore, but we met this guy named Casey. Turns out, he's been to church several times, has read the intro to the Book of Mormon, and has a lot of LDS friends and associates. We talked with him, gave him a Book of Mormon, invited him to church, and got his phone #. We txted him later in the week and asked him if he had been able to read yet, and he said, "no, but I'm taking it to work with me so I can read it there. Thank you for being so nice to me." He is so sweet!! And so prepared!! AND he did come to church on Sunday. :) We are so excited to get to start working with him. ;)
"By small and simple things are great things brought to pass." The Lord truly is hastening His work, and I am just amazed at the progress in our zone and in our mission. Good things are happening, and I am so grateful and excited.
Thanks for all you do!!
Love,
Sister Budge
p.s. on Thursday, our incredible ward mission leader, Brother Eldredge, and his wife, took us up to Redfeather and Livermore, which is like, and hour drive from Wellington (our ward boundaries are huge!!!), and which also happens to be up in the mountains....!!!! SO BEAUTIFUL!!! It was so wonderful to be in the mountains again!!!
