Dear friends and family, :)
So sorry I couldn't email yesterday!! Our library in Wellington was closed for Martin Luther King Jr. Day, and our phone wasn't working very well, so we didn't get word that all the libraries in Fort Collins were actually open...! All well--we proselyted for an extra two hours yesterday, so things work out. :)
My understanding of God, His will, how He speaks to us, His spirit, and my Savior Jesus Christ, are all increasing so much! I am continually amazed at His mercy in reaching out to me in all my imperfections and to each of us. He desires so much to bless His children and be close to them.
Our investigator, Samantha, was set for baptism for February 14th, but last night, she told us she wants to bump it up to the 31st of January...! She is definitely prepared, and she has been reading, praying, and coming to church. We're so excited!!
Matt has been in rehab; it turns out his alcohol problem is way beyond our abilities and responsibility to help. :/ We have really been reaching out to his roomate, Judy, though.
We gained a new really promising potential last night! And we have been so blessed to receive guidance from the Spirit to be exactly where we are needed at the right time, so many times this week! The potential's name is Casey--keep him in your prayers. We're going to try to meet with him again this Sunday.
I went on exchanges this last Tuesday with Sister Urness, and she is so great! I love exchanges and the opportunity to get to learn from these incredible Sisters. I get to go on exchanges with Sister Jensen, and I'm excited. :)
I love the Gospel of Jesus Christ so much--it is so perfect. Be patient with yourselves. I promise God knows you and will make you whole if you let Him. Strive to strengthen your relationship with Him.
Love,
Sister Budge
