Dear everyone, :)
Once again, I don't have a lot of time as I am working to apply for housing at BYU. :/ Good stuff, but it does cut into my email time unfortunately.
News dealing with transfers--I am staying here in Wellington, but Sister Hay is leaving for Boulder! She will be second-transfer training a new Sister, and I am going to be with Sister Helsing (not sure how to spell her name... :)). She has been out 5 transfers. We will still be Sister-Training leaders here. I am so so so so so excited to get to stay in Wellington!!!! I just love this ward and the people here so much!!! :) And I am so grateful for the time I was able to spend with Sister Hay; I have learned so much from her!
It has just been a really great week, and I definitely feel very fulfilled. I love feeling like I am doing the Lord's will--like I have been where I have been needed, and He can trust me to do so.
The General Women's broadcast was amazing! Earlier that day during our studies, Sister Hay and I were reading in Doctrine and Covenants 93, which basically highlights what the first speaker, Sister Cheryl A. Esplin, spoke about! After I studies, I had the distinct feeling, "Now I feel prepared for the General Women's Broadcast," and after hearing that talk, I just felt that much more light filling my soul. I love studies, I love the Spirit, and I love General Conference! :)
On Wednesday, we went to visit the neighbor of our previous ward mission leader. Her name is Delpha, and we have been able to visit with her through the Eldredges (the neighbor members), as they have invited her to dinner a couple of times when we have been there. As we visited her, she asked some questions about judgement, and Sister Hay and I were able to teach her most of the Plan of Salvation. Even though she says she's, "not a candidate for mormonism," she definitely has questions and is very open to discussing them with us.
Jesus Christ is the light of the world. Through living the gospel of Jesus Christ, His light can shine through us. Strive to live worthy of the Spirit every day. When we keep an eye single to the glory of God, we can be filled with this light and are promised that we can comprehend all things.
Love,
Sister Marissa Budge
